A Thanks Letter from Amir Ali, Festival President

At the outset, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Masrour Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, and a special thanks to Ali Tatar, Governor of Duhok, for his unwavering support in making the Duhok International Film Festival (Duhok IFF) a reality.

I also extend my heartfelt thanks to the staff and volunteers of the 11th edition of Duhok IFF. Through your tireless dedication and hard work, we have successfully hosted another remarkable edition. The planned program was executed smoothly and efficiently. Well done to all — your roles and contributions were integral to the festival's success. You have brought even greater pride to this city and gifted it something truly special.

A sincere thanks to the people of the Kurdistan Region. I am also grateful to Mitos Film Company, the festival juries, the selection committee, the filmmakers, and the festival’s guests. My thanks extend to all governmental institutions, particularly the Directorate of Health in Duhok and the General Directorate of Tourism in Duhok, as well as the Zakho Independent Administration. Last but not least, I express my deep gratitude to all the sponsors of the 11th Duhok IFF.
