It received Special Mentions at Toronto International Film Festival and won the Main Award of the ZagrebDox Film Festival.

Due to the heavy shelling that took place in the city, many locals were disabled. Hamadi focuses on their journey, as they make the trek to the capital Kinshasa to make their voices heard, to demand dignity and some kind of compensation.
