Celebrated French producer Camille Laemlé is Jury President

We are proud to announce the official Kurdish Section Jury of the 10th Duhok International Film Festival. Led by Jury President Camille Laemlé, an independent producer currently engaged at French production company Les Film d’Ici. She has gained international recognition with several successful productions, such as “Fire at Sea” by Gianfranco Rosi, which won the Golden Bear at Berlinale in 2014. She recently produced Ossama Mohammed’s “Silvered Water”, which premiered in Cannes competition. Laemlé is accompanied by Nizamettin Ariç, acclaimed singer and one of the first kurdish filmmakers, and renowned kurdish-iranian actress Maryam Bourbani, Berlin-based US director Elsa Rassbach and iraqi actor Mahmoud Abu Abbas.
