Renowned turkish director Emin Alper is International Jury President

We are thrilled to announce turkish director Emin Alper as Jury President of the International Competition of the 10th Duhok International Film Festival. His latest film “Burning Days” premiered in Cannes in May 2023. A rising Star in the Industry, he was recently Jury President of the International Competition at the Istanbul Film Festival 2023. Alper is joined by film critic and an International Jury Member regular at several Film Festivals, Nirmal Dhar, who has been recently member of the FIPRESCI-Jury at Busan International Film Festival. Additionally, Afghan writer-director Chabname Zariab, polish Journalist Artur Zabroski and Iranian author Mahsa Moheb Ali are complementing the Jury.
