Synopsis 
A boy who is believed to bring bad luck to everyone around him leads his family and two new friends across Laos to find a new home. On a calamity-filled journey through a land scarred by the legacy of war, he wants to prove, that he’s not bad luck and builds a giant rocket to enter the most exciting and dangerous competition of the year: The Rocket Festival. 

Director’s Biography 

A graduate of film production from the University of Technology Sydney, Mordaunt first started as an actor before transferring to documentary directing and cinematography. These experiences honed his ability for intimate fiction filmmaking.
