London. It seems like people there live miles apart, but in reality they live next door. Three Kurdish immigrants arrive in the UK as illegal aliens and seek asylum. The men encounter three women who share the same reality. Even though they are culturally so different, they all belong to the people that no one cares about. They find out, that we all bear our fears inside and that we are maybe not so different after all.
Ali, born in Slemani in 1976, studied Theatre Directing in Baghdad. He left Kurdistan, started studying filmmaking and got his M.A. He has made one feature and six short films, which won awards in international festivals.
