As summer arrives, life moves up to the rooftops of Kurdistan.  It’s the same for Diyarbakir. Despite the city's growth and change in image, there are houses in the old-city, which insist on not changing. This documentary follows these rooftop lives from morning till night.



Ozkan Kucuk was born in 1975 in Dersim (Tunceli) in the Kurdish part of Turkey. In 1997 he graduated as Environmental Engineering and then went on to study at the Faculty for Radio, Television and Film at the Marmara University in Istanbul. Since 1999 he works as a both writer and filmmaker in the Mesopotamian region.
